Uganda vs Kenya U19 games in Kampala 13/08/2016.

Uganda vs Kenya U19 games in Kampala 13/08/2016.

First ever inter-national lacrosse games in

Africa will take place in Kampala on

13th/08/2016 in Kampala Uganda where

Uganda hosts Kenya for the inaugural U19

boys and girls lacrosse East African

Championship.

Uganda and Kenya are the only Federation of International Lacrosse members in Africa.

These games are major for the growth of

both regional and continental lacrosse

programs in Africa paving way for bigger

fixtures with more nations taking part most

likely South Africa.
Action from the Uganda Youth Championships September 2015.

The age category also sends a big message

about the future of the game in these nations

that have concentration of skills development

in relatively young talented players with a

bigger chance to explode while competing

internationally. ‪#‎UGvsKY‬.
