Nyakana Douglas Amooti-YMCA Warriors Club/Kenya Girls Lacrosse Coach.
Lacrosse has never been as hyped as it is in the world today due to it's acceptance in the African sporting culture. The game that jumped into the mainstream in Uganda 2011 has now spread through East Africa and Kenya is a hub.
U-19 Kenya Girls Lacrosse team and officials.
Kenya girls lacrosse team played two games in Uganda 2016 in the High School Girls Lacrosse Championship in March and eventual winners of the East Africa 7's U-19 game beating Uganda hands down in August.

DBA Sports Director Storm Trentham and the architect of the Kenya Girls Lacrosse program broke the news of Coach Douglas being invited by the English and Wales Lacrosse community to attend the world event that in many ways will be a learning experience much needed for his work in western Kenya.

For the budding lacrosse communities in Africa, only such opportunities can bring about tangible knowledge sharing for purposes of growth.

Myles Jones-Jim Brown major inspirations of the Africa Lacrosse culture.

Myles Jones-Jim Brown major inspirations of the Africa Lacrosse culture.

Jim Brown inducted in the both US Lacrosse Hall of Fame and the NFL Hall of Fame is a fore shadow of immense sporting talent that is in the people of African origin participating and competing in games like lacrosse a story that has remained unlikely until the recent past.
JIM BROWN turned 83 years old Feb 2016.
Until 2014 lacrosse the game that is believed to have been played by native Americans over 100 years had it's first world championship competitors from Uganda representing Africa a fusion of which that had limited models and predetermining the outcome of their presence at the event.
Myles Jones former DUKE #15 in MLL Action 2016.

Myles Jones's story and process of development both on and off the field has seen him come through college lacrosse ranks straight into the Major Lacrosse League playing competitively against other professional players like Kyle Harrison,Paul Rabil and legendary Casey Powell.
Ochan Reagan Captain U19 Uganda National Lacrosse team.
Today 100's of such story's like Hall of Fame's Jim Brown and new MLL's lacrosse sensation Myles Jones are possible in the mainland Africa,a good case Ochan Reagan who almost sinked U19 Kenya national lacrosse team single handedly with 4 goals of  the 9-2 final score.

For a sport looking for Olympics consideration, such African talent getting scholarship opportunities to study in America and Europe where facilities and opportunity is more clear could even motivate more talent like Brown and Myles have come this far so far and bring even more possibilities for the game of lacrosse than ever imagined.
Ken Kasule troubling defensemen in the Israel Premier Lacrosse League 2016.
Ken Kasule played for Ashkelon Lacrosse Club and was Man-Of-The-Match in one of the games and his team played in the final game of the play off's along with fellow Ugandan Jaffari Makanda Ibrahim.

More such players like Oriana Patrick seem ready for bigger challengers in bigger leagues to continue the legacy of Jim Brown in it's realest aspect and also increase chances of possibility of growth of 1000's more such dedicated talent in years to come.
